Donald Keys is a full time professional REALTOR® who has been licensed by the Arizona Department of Real Estate Since 1997. Donald became interested in real estate when he first started to work for Ryland Homes, a new home builder in Phoenix. Encouraged by what he learned their, Donald decided to attend school and study to be a REALTOR® and get his license. He mentored with some of the top new home agents in the valley and also attended Hyland Bay school for new homes sales and became a certified new home specialist. After focusing on new home sales, Donald decided to further his education of the residential resale market and studied at Keller Williams. There he not only learned but excelled in residential resale. Donald earned the #1 solo producing agent award two years in a row at Keller Williams. He listed homes for sale and sold them faster and for more money than many agents with homes for sale in the same neighborhood using his advanced marketing techniques. Feeling it was time for a change because of the changing market, Donald joined Realty Executives in Peoria AZ and started to focus on buyers as the market shifted into a buyer’s market. Donald also joined one of the top real estate coaching programs in North America and further learned how to provide excellent customer service while providing buyers and sellers unique guarantees that no other agent could match. Unfortunately, Donald was able to look ahead and see that Realty Executives was in a non sustainable business model and went to work for HomeSmart. Less than six months after leaving his former broker, Realty Executives filed bankruptcy protection. HomeSmart is now Phoenix’s largest broker with over 5,000 agents and is ranked #1. Many of them came with years of experience from RE/MAX, Realty Executives, Century 21, Coldwell Banker and other well known companies. As the market shifts toward a balance market, Donald shifted with it and now works with Sellers, Buyers and Renters as he has started to build his team (The Keys Team) of experienced residential REALTORS® while focusing on customer service.
