Freeway Closings October 21st to October 24th

If you are looking to buy a home or plan on having buyers visit your home for sale, you will want to know about the weekend freeway closures:

The Arizona Department Of Transportation (ADOT) will be closing several valley freeways this weekend.

Here is a summary of the closures:

1 Loop 101 eastbound closed between 75th and Seventh avenues in north Valley for HOV lane project – including lane striping ahead of opening new section of HOV lane in that area. Please allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes. Freeway traffic will detour along Beardsley frontage road.
10 p.m. Friday – 3 p.m. Sunday
(October 23)

2 Both I-17 ramps to Loop 101 eastbound in north Phoenix closed for HOV lane project. Consider exiting at Deer Valley Rd. or Union Hills Dr. and go east to Seventh Street to reach Loop 101 eastbound.
10 p.m. Friday – 3 p.m. Sunday
(October 23)

3 Loop 101 southbound (Price Freeway) closed between Ray Rd. and Loop 202 in Chandler for lane striping. Loop 101 southbound on-ramp at Ray Rd. closed. Traffic will use southbound Price Rd. to access Loop 202.
10 p.m. Friday – 9 p.m. Saturday
(October 22)

Loop 101 northbound (Price Freeway) closed between Loop 202 and Ray Rd. in Chandler for lane striping. Both Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) ramps to Loop 101 northbound also closed. Drivers can use northbound Price Rd. to travel beyond closure.
10 p.m. Saturday – 9 p.m. Sunday
(October 23)

4 I-10 eastbound closed overnight at 16th St. near downtown Phoenix for overhead message board installation. eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Third St. also closed. eastbound I-10 traffic will exit to southbound 16th St. and go east on Jefferson St. to reconnect with I-10.

Gold Canyon/Globe Travel: US 60 narrowed to one lane in each direction in the Gold Canyon area east of Apache Junction from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Thursday (October 27) for paving work. Please allow extra travel time.
